The 2022 undergraduate contest will be organized on Monday, May 9, 2022, during the 19th IEEE International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals and Devices (IEEE SSD 2022). This contest edition is financially co-sponsored by the Philadelphia University, Amman, Jordan; King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia; and Ajman University, United Arab Emirates. The contest is technically sponsored by the IEEE Solid State Circuits (SSC), Tunisia Chapter. This international competition is established to recognize outstanding projects and aims to stimulate innovative ideas for applications in topics related to Electrical Engineering and Information technology. The 2022 undergraduate contest is open for students, or teams of up to three, who either: – completed their master projects during 2021 or – completed their engineering projects during 2021 or – are pursuing their projects during 2022. Submissions have to be addressed to sub.undergrad.SC@gmail.com, and should include: 1) 4 to 6-page manuscript describing the project work. Use the “IEEE A4 template” 2) video presentation (Max.: 10min & 50MB) to give a concise summary of the project. The video should also include, at its end, a practical demo of the project. 3) school attendance certificate issued by a Higher Education Institution Complete submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee and external Reviewers based on: A. Technical content (35); B. Originality (15); C. Project demo (15); D. Presentation and discussion of the results (20); E. Quality and content of the video (15). Based on the review results, the best submissions will be short-listed. Respective students (first authors) will be notified by email and should attend, in person or virtual, the one-day contest to present and discuss their submitted projects.
