About the Technical Activities Committee
The IEEE Tunisia Section Technical Activities Committee (TAC) oversees and coordinates technical activities within the section. It works closely with IEEE societies and councils, technical chapters, industry professionals, and academic institutions to support technical excellence, innovation, and professional development in Tunisia.
The TAC mission at large is to foster the development and facilitate the exchange of scientific and technological knowledge that benefits members, the profession, and humanity.

Focus Areas
- Ensure effective running of IEEE technical chapters in Tunisia and encourage collaboration and innovation through better coordination and support.
- Expand conference and workshop offerings to promote knowledge-sharing and technical excellence.
- Enhance the Distinguished Lecturers Program’s reach by supporting the Chapters in inviting top experts to discuss emerging technologies.
- Foster stronger industry-academia collaboration through dedicated programs.
- Launch new educational initiatives targeting students, young professionals and confirmed professionals from both industry and academia.
- Encourage interdisciplinary innovation by supporting new initiatives in cutting-edge fields that empower our members and volunteers.
- Creating new opportunities via industry and strengthening existing partnerships.

The Technical Activities Committee is chaired by the elected Section Vice Chair for Technical Activities and consists of several appointed coordinators and 3 taskforces each focusing on a specific area of technical engagement. The TA committee is supported by efforts from 25+ dedicated volunteers.
