The IEEE PES Day Webinar Series is a collaborative event between the IEEE IAS/IES/PES ESSTHS SB Joint Chapter and IEEE IAS/IES/PES Esprit SB Joint Chapter. The webinar will be held virtually via Google Meet holding 3 workshops the 22, 23 and 24th April 2025 from 8pm to 9:30pm. Event Themes and Topics: April 22nd - Edge Computing for Smarter Electrical Grids: - Speaker: Jacques Martin - This session will demonstrate its applications in energy management, demand response, and real-time grid optimization. April 23rd- AI-Driven Future of Electric Vehicles and Smart Charging Networks: - Speaker: Ala Chalghaf. - The session will discuss AI-based smart charging solutions and predictive maintenance strategies. April 24th- Cybersecurity in Smart Grids: Protecting power systems from cyber threats: - Speaker: Ali Dehghantanha. - This workshop will emphasize the recent cybersecurity challenges and potential solutions for smart grids. This event aims to foster knowledge exchange, encourage volunteerism, and promote membership growth within IEEE PES.
